Water
It all begins with an idea.
Following air, water is the most important element for life. 2 litres or 8 glasses of water should be our daily target. The brain is made of 84% water. Water facilitates detoxification of the system and elimination of waste products from the body which enables bowel movements. The large intestine alone requires 2.5 pints daily to function properly.
The ideal water filtration system is distillation though charcoal jug filters are also good. Distilled water is powerfully detoxifying. Dehydration can make us have impaired thinking and achy bones.
The consumption of caffeine and alcohol is contributorily important when it comes to water too as they are dehydrating, giving a need for additional water.[vii]
Consider where you are at and how you think you could practically bring change in your life. Write out your first step for change or short-term intention. This will be helpful to form an intentional practice and something to reflect on as you progress.
