Air

Breathing is our primary interaction with life. Quality breathing or breathing exercises[iii] can have a profound effect on our physical and emotional health. The way our bodies function, from the smallest cell to the biggest organ, is determined by our need for constant oxygen nourishment.

Getting fresh air in nature is also really very beneficial for our microbiome and it is recommended that “if you can do one thing today let it be this; breathe as many diverse environments as you can. Take a moment to find your way back to nature.”[v]

Consider where you are at and how you think you could practically bring change in your life.  Write out your first step for change or short-term intention. This will be helpful to form an intentional practice and something to reflect on as you progress.

Would you consider the diversity of a walk in the woods, or by the sea or amongst the ferns or through the park?

Could you make time to mindfully deep breath daily? When do you plan to do it?
